Ancestry.com is kick-app!

The ole family tree - what a pain! It’s a tough process of finding relatives, digging up records, and linking all the pieces of your family. Luckily, ancestry.com can help with your family tree. I started using this services several weeks ago and I have found a ton of information on my family and their origins.

Ancestry.com helps fill in the blanks on your family tree by searching huge databases of old census records, birth and death records, military records, and much more. It gives you hints and suggestions on finding and completing the profiles of any family member. You can even find family trees that others have created and add them onto yours! For instance, I came to a dead end on my mother’s side, then I found creditable information from another family member, whom I do not know, who had actually completed a large portion of the tree. I was really amazed at the progress I made over several days.

Additionally, you can add photos on all family member’s profiles, add audio and video notes, and even invite others to participate in the family tree research. This is quite possibly the more thing I have done on the net in  years! Make sure and bookmark this one.
