I’m curious if people out there are sick of going to Best Buy in Reno or Sparks Nevada and talking to the Geek Squad for tough computer questions. Or maybe it’s a simple question and you don’t like waiting on the telephone or again, visiting the Best Buy Geek Squad in Reno or Sparks.
If you are a beginner or intermediate computer user and think it would be WAY COOL to post your computer questions and have them answered by local Reno/Sparks/Lake Tahoe technical folks, post a comment below saying so!
It’s been frustrating ever since CompUSA left Reno. CompUSA was barely able to accommodate people with new release products, but at least they had something available in a case of an emergency. Computer parts in Reno could also be found at PC Club. However, they rarely carried anything you wanted and had to order the part from their warehouse. Basically, you could just purchase it off Newegg.com and cut the middleman.
Best Buy in Reno is not a computer parts store. All of the products are overpriced to the point that you could next day air anything from Newegg.com and still save money. What we need is a Fryes Electronics here in Reno, NV.

I just came across this great tool called Edicy which allows anyone to create a website in minutes, I swear! I thought of school teachers in Reno because I remember some horrible website in the past created by my teachers (college, that is).
So, Reno school teachers any one else looking for a easy website building tool head on over to:

I’ve had the new Reno Whole Foods Market on the mind lately as their opening approaches on South Virginia Street, where the old Shopco space; they refer to it as Whole Foods Meadowood. Partially because I shop at Wild Oats, which was absorbed by Whole Foods. All the products in Wold Oats has slowly transformed into Whole Food product lines and specialities (Whole Food tapioca, mmmm!).
When going to school in Portland, we had a Whole Foods Market right next door to us in the Pearl District. Everyday I would grab one of Whole Foods specialties from the buffet line: tofu scramble covered in cheddar cheese, complimented with some vegan biscuits and gravy. Add an orange juice and oh man, it’s a great way to start the day! Can’t wait, they open June 25th in what looks to be a killer new store with outdoor seating.
Here’s a map of the new Reno Whole Foods Market
